| Jan 7-10 | Operation Black-Out - Special theme week to challenge students with low lighting focus and concentration Black-Out Missions. In addition, Ki-Do Instructors take this opportunity to secretly review S.E.R.T. (Special Emergency Response Training). Lights may go out without warning! Audience should be prepared for everything! The students will be! Students will love it, but not as much as the instructors! |

| Jan 22 & 24 | Yellow (Perseverance) Stripe Test. Everyone is welcome to witness students demonstrating their skills for rank advancement. Full uniform required! |
| Jan 28-Feb 21 | Perfect Attendance: Secret Of The Samurai Scroll Event - Students attending 7 or more classes will be awarded an invitation to attend. Students and their guests will learn the secrets through fun and interactive lessons and activities. |

| Feb 12-14 | Buddy Days for all Dragon and Jr. Black Belt Classes. Students may invite a friend to attend a fun filled class with them. Guests should be at least 4 years old & be willing to participate in some Karate focus & self-control activities. |

| Mar 19 & 21 | Rank Promotion & Board Breaking - Students will be expected to demonstrate Black Belt Perseverance, Respect, and Modesty, as well as, wooden board breaking. Family and friends are welcome to attend these action packed tests! Full uniform required. |

| Apr 29-May 2 | Ki-Do’s Child Safety Seminar - Students and their guests will be captivated with fun interactive lessons to instill life saving knowledge & skill. These important techniques will be presented in all Dragons and Jr. Black Belt class times. Free for all! Parents, teachers, and guardians are encouraged to attend. Let’s all learn how to keep our children safe! |
| May 14 & 16 | Purple Stripe Testing. Students will be challenged to develop their self-discipline. Like a mountain (the Purple Stripe symbol), students must learn to stand solid and firm, controlling themselves physically and mentally. Full uniform required! |
| May 20-Jun 13 | Perfect Attendance: Students earning 7 stamps will be awarded with a Ki-Do Keychain! |

These are the key principles to developing self-respect and esteem, as well as, earning acceptance by others. Family and friends are welcome to attend these special rank tests! |
| Jun 14 | Awards Ceremony & Ki-Do’s 29th Anniversary. Friday from 6-8:00 PM at the Highland KC Hall. Full uniform required. |
| Jun 17-Jul 11 | Perfect Attendance: Ki-Do Exhilarama - Students attending 7 or more classes by the next Rank Promotion will be awarded an invitation to attend. | July 9 & 11 | Blue Stripe Testing. Black Belt Courage is a requirement for Blue Stripe. Students must practice courage in all aspects of their lives, especially when facing challenges. |

| Jul 15-Aug 8 | Perfect Attendance Ki-Do Cash. Students may earn $5 worth of Ki-Do Cash. Ki-Do Cash may be used on merchandise & drinks. |

| Aug 19-22 | Ki-Do’s Bully Proof Program. A Black Belt has a high level of respect and confidence, traits that repel bullies. Students will learn how to defeat violence and promote mutual respect. Students may invite a guest to attend this unique program during normal class times. |

| Sept 3 | Full uniforms required for all classes. Students should start wearing their jackets again. |
| Sept 10 & 12 | Rank Promotion & Board Breaking - Students will be tested on Inner Strength, the true meaning of Ki-Do, making good choices, taking care of responsibilities, and resisting unhealthy peer pressure. Full uniform required. Family & friends are welcomed! |
| Sep 16-Oct 10 | Perfect Attendance Halloween Party/Haunted House. Students may earn an invitation by acquiring 7 stamps. They may also invite a guest. |
| Sep 16-Oct 10 | Black Belt Service Project - Students will be learning the importance of service toward others, a key to true happiness. During this week students will be asked to bring in food items to build a huge Service Tower in our lobby. Items will be donated to the Food Pantry. |
| Oct 8 & 10 | White Stripe Testing - Students will be expected to demonstrate their physical, mental and emotional skills to earn their stripe. Family & friends are welcome. Full uniform required. |

| Oct 21-24 | Pillow Fu Battles for Dragons & JRBBTC during normal class times. Yes, it is like Kung Fu, but much more fun. This program teaches students how to use backpacks for self-defense by practicing with a much safer pillow. Students may invite a guest to attend these special classes. Everyone should bring their favorite pillow for battle! |

| Nov 12 -14 | Crazy Feet Week - Ki-Do will provide washable markers, stamps, and other art supplies for students wishing to decorate their feet during classes! |
| Nov 25 & 26 | Adult VIP Days for all Dragons & Junior students. Students may treat a special guest to an exciting class. Fun for all fitness levels. Adult VIP may be parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, family or friends (VIPs should be 16 years or older). VIPs should wear comfortable clothing and shoes. |
