Went to watch my boyfriend's niece at practice as a surprise for her birthday. It was a genuinely good time. The teacher is very engaged and fun and energetic with the kids and the kids love it! They're young, but you can already see some of the self-discipline they are developing!

My boys spent several years with KiDo...more importantly, with Mr. Rakers leading the pack. I would recommend this program to anyone. My boys learned so much...from self control to being better people...it's more than just a physical karate program.

I very highly suggest giving them a call and taking advantage of the $29.95 trial lessons. The one on one lesson that we had with Zach was impactful and affective. Karate will never be the cheapest activity that you can enroll your child into but it is an entire lifestyle and method of self-discipline . We were struggling with mutual respect and self-discipline. We were also struggling with focus. We have one more lesson and our trial. And then one more than likely decide to keep going with it. I can see the Benefits already. Looking forward.

Our son has been a student at Ki-Do Karate for almost 6 years. I can't begin to name all the great things he has gained from the experience. Not only has he learned how to defend himself and others should the need arise, but he has heard from others (not just his parents) the importance of demonstrating good character. The black belt principles (perseverance, respect, honesty, and integrity to name a few) serve as a great guide to follow throughout a lifetime.

This was the best thing we have EVER done for our grandson. He LOVES it. The kids actually have to move and become coordinated instead of sitting around playing on an I-Pad. Not only is he learning self-defense but he is learning to FOCUS, he has more SELF-CONFIDENCE, SELF-ESTEEM, PATIENCE, MANNERS, RESPECT, and (one of my big ones) "HUMILITY. No matter what Karate school you enroll in though, choose an instructor/school who TALKS MORE ABOUT THE NEEDS OF YOUR CHILD RATHER THAN THEIR PROGRAM. You want to get the most out of your money and time. So far, Ki-Do in Breese has been pretty good about that. Hope my grandson continues to learn. Thanks Mr. Rakers.

When our son showed an interest in karate after seeing a performance at the parade, we were skeptical of his interest based on past experience with other activies. 3 years later he has come a long way. His goal is to become a Black Belt by the time he graduates high school. 

I'm proud of his dreams and goals and you have truly inspired him and many others! Your positive attitude and comments really make a diference. We also believe he, "Does His Best" not only in karate, but school too. Our son is definitely, "ON A QUEST TO DO HIS BEST!" and thanks to you he is well on his way to a wonderful future.

We believe the program at Ki-Do Karate is one of the best activites around for children. It not only teaches the children a skill, but it teaches them valuable life lessons. The positive reinforcement is excellent in a world that has become so negative. I know that we have learned a lot from the program as parents and consistently catch ourselves trying to be better people. I know our son has learned a lot from karate and I've seen him apply it in real life. That is important to us. We definitely would like to commend the instructors on the fabulous job they do day in and day out. You can see by the attitude of everyone there that it is a great place to work and grow and nothing exemplifies that more then a good leader.

Our son was very short tempered and was having a difficult time expressing his feelings. One day I was surfing the net and everything I looked up was pointing to karate. I was not sure how this was going to help, but we were willing to give it a try.
 
Since in your program, he has become a different child. Our house is a much happier place now. We would like to thank you for your time and effort. I know how much you changed our lives and many other families in Highland.
